Executive Team
Chief Executive – Debbie Thompson
Debbie has been with Forum for nearly 30 years. She began her journey as a Personal Assistant and progressed through office-based management roles to Director of Human Resources and Corporate Services. She was promoted to Chief Executive in 2016.
Debbie is a member of CIPD, her particular skills and qualifications lie in people management, ensuring we have the right people in the right job and that they are motivated and on board with the Association’s ethos and objectives. Debbie enjoys reading, movies, interior design and spending weekends with her family in the Cotswolds.
Deputy Chief Executive – Vicky Bannister
Vicky Joined Forum in 2019 as Deputy Chief Executive following a 30 year career in housing at both Wigan Council and Wigan and Leigh Homes. She has held a variety of roles, all in the housing sector, focused on putting residents at the heart of the business. Holding a degree in Social Science and qualified in Business Management, she is also a fully qualified member of the Chartered Institute for Housing. Vicky is keen gardener and loves to be out and about with her two dogs.
Director of Operations – Sue Barker
Sue joined Forum in 1994. With a background in nursing she started work with the Association as part of the front line staff team. Her managerial skills saw her progress through the different levels within the organisation to Director of Operations. She has particular skills and expertise in safeguarding matters and is the lead practitioner within the Association in relation to service delivery, including under 18’s services and health and wellbeing.
Director of Finance and Performance – Michelle Dibbert-White
Michelle has worked with and for Forum for over 25 years, and qualified as a Certified Accountant a few years after she started working for Forum. She began her journey with the organisation as a Finance Officer and has progressed over the years to Director. Her responsibilities include finance, ICT, administration, audit and internal controls. She is also the management lead for the Association’s ISO 9001 accreditation.
Director of Business Development – Lisa Leece
Lisa joined Forum in March 2020 as Director of Business Development, bringing 28 years’ experience of outcome focused, strategic and operational business development, securing high levels of funding, grants, and commissioning within the 3rd and public sector. Lisa is passionate about empowering, enabling, and making a real difference to those we support. Lisa has a MSc in Business Management, a Diploma in Welfare Studies, and qualification in Youth Work. Lisa enjoys long walks, countryside activities, and an active home life, surrounded by an array of animals
