Volunteer with us
Volunteers are important to us, and we value the input that each volunteer brings to our services. If you share our passion for changing lives and have time to give, then volunteering with us is likely to be very rewarding.
We will seek to provide a supportive, enabling environment; investing in volunteers through learning and development relevant to our volunteers’ progression and the work of the Association.
We have Volunteering opportunities in the following areas: Wirral, Ellesmere Port, Warrington and Cheshire East. Our volunteering roles range from:
- Customer service and administration
- Support in specialist areas such as health, offending, or recovery
- Sharing a talent or hobby such as art, fitness or cooking
- Maintenance and project work
- Resident involvement / facilitating meetings and sessions
- Food share donations; collection and delivery (regular or for Harvest / Christmas appeals)
- Helping at one off events (e.g. promotion, seasonal appeals, volunteer fairs)
Why Volunteer with us?
Many people volunteer for a range of different reasons; for learning and development; to utilise existing skills; for experience to consider a career change; or to give something back to the community. Volunteering often identifies hidden strengths; building confidence in both yourself and others. Volunteering is about a relationship of mutual gain, and we want to get to know about you! We at Forum value your time and commitment, and you can offer as much or as little as you are able.
Requirements
Specific experience is not essential, however we believe that passion, a caring attitude and a willingness to support others is. Suitability for roles can be considered at interview, and we will do our best to find a role that suits your skills and aspirations.
